GENERIC NAME:
Escherichia coli Trivalent Vaccine for Newborn Piglets, Inactivated.
COMPOSITION:
The vaccine contains Escherichia coli with K88, K99, and 987P fimbrial antigens, with reverse indirect hemagglutination (RIHA) titers for the three fimbrial antigens. The titers for K88 and K99 are both ≥40 times, and for 987P, it is ≥160 times.
CHARACTERISTIC:
After standing still, the upper layer is a clear, white liquid, and the lower layer is a milky white precipitate. After shaking, it forms a uniform suspension.
INDICATION(S):
The product is used for immunizing pregnant sows so that passive immunity can be obtained by newborn piglets through suckling the mother's colostrum. This vaccine is intended for the prevention of colibacillosis in piglets (neonatal piglet diarrhea).
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE:
For pregnant sows, administer one injection 40 days and another 15 days before delivery, with each injection being 5ml via intramuscular injection.
