Product Description

High Quality Doxycycline Hyclate Tablets 25 MgGENERIC NAME:
Doxycycline Hyclate Tablets
MAIN COMPONENT:
Doxycycline hyclate
DESCRIPTION:
The product is a light yellow tablet.
PHARMACOLOGICAL EFFECTS:
Pharmacodynamics   The product is a broad-spectrum tetracycline antibiotic. Susceptible bacteria include Gram-positive bacteria such as Pneumococcus, Streptococcus, some Staphylococcus strains, Bacillus anthracis, tetanus bacillus and rod-shaped bacillus, as well as Gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Pasteurella, Salmonella, Brucella and Haemophilus, Klebsiella, and Burkholderia mallei. It also has a certain inhibitory effect on rickettsiae, mycoplasma and spirochetes.
Pharmacokinetics  It is rapidly absorbed, less affected by food, and highly bioavailable after oral administration. It has an effective blood concentration maintained for a long time, has a strong ability to penetrate tissues, is widely distributed and easily enters the cells. Its apparent steady-state volume of distribution in dogs is about 1.5 L/kg. It has a high plasma protein binding rate of 75%-86% in dogs. It is partially inactivated in the intestine by chelation, and 75% of its dosage in dogs is eliminated in this manner. Its renal excretion is only about 25%, and its biliary excretion is less than 5%. Its half-life in dogs is about 10-12h.
DRUG INTERACTIONS:

  1. Taken with sodium bicarbonate, it increases the intragastric pH, which decreases its absorption and activity.
  2. The product can bind to divalent and trivalent cations, etc. to form complexes, so when it is taken with antacids containing calcium, magnesium or aluminum, iron-containing drugs, or foods such as milk, its absorption will decrease, thereby resulting in a decrease in its blood concentration.
  3. Its combination with strong diuretics such as furosemide can worsen renal impairment.
  4. It can interfere with the bactericidal effect of penicillins against bacteria that are reproducing, so it is advisable to avoid combination.
INDICATIONS AND USAGE:
It is a tetracycline antibiotic. It is used for infections with Gram-positive and negative bacteria and mycoplasma.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Calculated based on doxycycline. Oral dose for dogs and cats: 5-10 mg/kg body weight once daily for 3-5 days. Or follow medical advice.
ADVERSE REACTIONS:
  1. Vomiting is occasionally seen after oral administration, and adhesion to the esophagus can cause esophagitis.
  2. Intestinal miscolonisation, avitaminosis occasionally seen after long-term use, and secondary infections in severe cases; occasional secondary infections with drug-resistant Salmonella or unknown pathogens, and occasional serious diarrhea.
  3. Overdose can lead to gastrointestinal disorders, such as anorexia, vomiting or diarrhea.

 PRECAUTIONS:

  1. This product is contraindicated in animals with serious liver or kidney dysfunction.
  2. Avoid oral administration with dairy products and foods high in calcium.

Strong antibacterial ability, suitable for infections such as bacteria, Mycoplasma, Chlamydia, Leptospira, Eperythrozoon, Toxoplasma gondii, etc
Using the original drug coating process, it will not irritate the esophagus or stomach and can be safely used for dogs and cats over 2 months old.
